Multi-Day Tournaments
Multi-day tournaments can be offered in several ways within your Box Office. The best setup depends on how you want to structure ticketing and what will be most convenient for your community. Below are the three recommended approaches:
Option 1: Individual Events + Season Pass
Create separate events for each day, as in Option 2.
In addition, create a Season Pass event and link it to all the single-day events.
A fan purchasing the Season Pass will receive one QR code that is valid for every tournament day.
This option is ideal if you want to give fans the flexibility of purchasing either single-day tickets or an all-access pass.
Option 2: Individual Events for Each Day
Create a separate event in your Box Office for each tournament day.
Sell single-day tickets under each event.
Fans will need to purchase the specific day(s) they want to attend.
This option gives the clearest separation of days and makes it easy to track attendance and revenue per day.
Option 3: Single Event with Multiple Ticket Levels
Create one event in your Box Office.
Add a separate ticket level for each tournament day (e.g., Day 1 Ticket, Day 2 Ticket, Championship Day).
Each ticket technically grants access to the entire event, but tickets will only scan once, so fans can’t reuse them across multiple days.
This option works best if you want a simple setup and don’t mind tickets being day-specific by name only.
Note: Utilize Doors Open Time to ensure that fans that purchase for Day 2 cannot scan into Day 1. Any ticket level within this singular event can be scanned at any time without this feature used.
Which Option Should You Choose?
Choose Option 1 if you’d like to offer both single-day and full-tournament passes in one setup.
Choose Option 2 if you need separate reporting per day or want the clearest distinction for your community.
Choose Option 3 if you want a simple setup with minimal build-out.
Tip: Before setting up, think about how your community typically purchases tickets. If families like to attend multiple days, a Season Pass can be a great value. If most attend only once, single-day tickets may make more sense.
