Season Ticket Renewal Q&A

Who should I reach out to for assistance with my season ticket renewal?

  • For assistance with your season ticket renewals, please contact your Client Success Manager and Product Expert. 

How do I release the holds?

  • Holds can only be released by Hometown. To release holds, please coordinate with your Client Success Manager or Product Expert. 

When should we end renewals and open seats to the general public?

  • We typically recommend that you have a week between ending renewals and beginning general public sales. We call this period the “swap week” and this time is used to move around any renewed season ticket holders that might want to change their seats. This week can also be used to send out any last minute complimentary tickets to those who need one.

Do I need to create my games or my season ticket first?

  • Games must be created in your box office before setting up season tickets. Season Tickets pull their ticketing details directly from the game events, so having those games created in advance is a required step for successful season ticket setup.  

How do fans receive and use their codes?

  • Within your season ticket event, you can use the Renewal Tool to send a renewal email to everyone that has a seat reserved for them. This renewal email will contain a passcode that, when used, will allow them to purchase their reserved seats. Please see our Season Ticket Renewal Email Example article for more information.

I need to send complimentary season tickets. How do I do this?

After codes are sent, will I be able to send more codes?

  • Once the renewal codes have been sent out, you will not be able to use the Renewal Tool to send codes again. When sending renewal codes, please be sure to double-check your renewals and make sure you have all of the renewals you need in your event. 

Can I do a season ticket renewal for General Admission seats?

  • Yes, season ticket renewals can be created with General Admission tickets.
